Who I work for

I work with people who want to make decisions—or who are willing to take responsibility for a decision. Not because they know everything, but because they are willing to let go of certain things.

Typically, these are:

  • Business owners
  • Executive management
  • Marketing leaders with decision-making authority
  • Technical or strategic leaders

What they have in common:
They seek clarity rather than specific actions.

Clarity

+ Test assumptions, refine goals, make clear decisions

How I Work

I get involved in projects at an early stage—when it’s not yet clear whether something should be done. My contribution isn’t a concept or a campaign. It’s a structured space for thinking, in which:

  • Objectives are refined
  • Assumptions are reviewed
  • Alternatives are deliberately ruled out.

The end result is a sound decisionincluding the options that have been deliberately set aside.

In some cases, I also provide guidance during the first iteration and its implementation—on an ad hoc basis and within clearly defined limits. This is not a project or a retainer arrangement, but rather targeted support aimed at testing a previously defined hypothesis. The goal is not simply to generate activity, but to determine whether the decision is sound.

+ Offer

I ask questions that provide clarity

What you can expect:

  • Clear questions

  • Honest assessment

  • Contradiction, when necessary.

What is explicitly not included:

  • Ongoing support

  • Occupational therapy

  • Implementation

When we work together, we do so on a case-by-case basis, with a focused approach and an open-ended outcome.

When I’m not the right person:

  • when it is already clear what needs to be implemented
  • when consensus is more important than clarity
  • when no one is willing to take responsibility for making trade-offs
  • when a project needs to be managed before a decision has been made

In these cases, I’d rather save you time—and myself the effort.

A final note

If you already know what you want to do, others will be faster.

If you want to know whether you should do something, I’m probably the right person to ask.
